breakfast at Friendly's- Belgain Waffles with strawberries, whipped cream.

This morning, I managed to get up and get myself ready to go to Friendly's for breakfast. Normally I'm not a morning person, as I usually go to Friendly's for either lunch or dinner. Today I had ordered the Belgian waffle with whipped cream, strawberries, as well as the butter and caramel syrup, and a side order of bacon. Let me tell you that I don't recall ever having a Belgian waffle, as I've heard so much about it, as it was served at the Ny World's Fair in the 1960's. The price to get into the fair I think was only 50  cents, and the cost of the Belgian waffles were $1.00, which was twice the price for the paid admission to get inside. This was from a documented special I saw on WLIW 21 called
The 1960's World Fair, as various people and combined home movies documented the history of this 9 month event. Tons of people had recalled their pleasant sweet memories of getting the Belgian waffle, and no matter where else they got the waffle, it wasn't the same as in the world's fair.
The only reminiscent thing of the NY world's fair is the giant globe, that's featured in the area where the fair was held. Many people couldn't believe that it was all there. and now it's gone.
Friendly's makes a great breakfast, and come with strong and big appetites as after you have your breakfast at Friendly's, you will  be full and happy. I would highly recommend  that everyone should go to Friendly's for their breakfast, or any other meal during the day.
